Training with Kathrine is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy together with our terms and conditions and any contract ( or other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. 

 

COMPANY AND CONTACT INFORMATION 

For the purpose of The General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2018 (GDPR) the data controller is Kathrine Hargreaves, Trading as a sole trader under Training with Kathrine, in Kendal Cumbria. 

Our nominated representative for the purpose of the GDPR is Kathrine Hargreaves. Founder and trainer at Training with Kathrine. Our legal basis for data processing is contracts for students and consent for all other services. 

 

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU 

We may collect and process the following data about you: 

 

  • Information that you provide by submitting your data when enrolling on a course, or signing up for our mailing list. 

  • We may also ask you for identifying information when you contact us for assistance.  

  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. 

  • On completion of the course, we may ask you for the address to which you want your certificate to be sent.

  • We may subsequently also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them. 

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders. 

  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access. 

  • Personal information such as, name, address( work or home ), e-mail, phone number, emergency contact number and Student ID number. 

 

IP ADDRESSES

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns and does not identify any individual. 

 

COOKIES 

Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site. 

 

WHERE WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We do not collect or store credit card details and all payment transactions are received via bank transfers, standing orders or via third-party payment processing companies. 

  • Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone. 

  • Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

  • The GDPR includes a right to request the restriction or suppression of your personal data. This is not an absolute right and only applies in certain circumstances. When processing is restricted, we are permitted to store the personal data, but not use it. 

  • The GDPR includes the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority (including profiling); direct marketing (including profiling); and processing for purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics.

  • Any information request will be responded to within 30 days of receipt of request.
